One Week Down, Eleven Years to Go.

With regard to my Little Buddy and all things schooling at home, we are off to a great start!
 

There might have been the occasional rest break 
to include a delightful fleecy blanket 
and a thermos filled with chocolate milk.  




I can't won't can't really say.

However, we've also engaged in a little book learnin'

...and good bit of exploring, taking the hands-on approach with the occasional ladybug.

(Did you know ladybugs are beetles?  Yeah.  They totally are.)

(Did you know ladybugs can be boys?  Yeah.  They totally can.)

We also had our first trip to the "big library!"

Where we got our very own super cool library card!!

...and engaged in a few computer games!


(and picked out approximately six or thirty-seven books and three movies!)


(movies we have not watched and might or might not have misplaced already!)

The highlight of the week, though, was probably holding Baby Peyton.


...where there might have been a biology lesson regarding fascinating things 
like belly buttons when they are still...brand new.
