Elijah and I have started taking a daily constitutional on our local hiking/biking trail.
It meanders around the city for miles & miles... and miles.
Sometimes he's really excited about it and sometimes he throws a fit and proceeds to share in a loud voice how exhausting it is to be seven.
I've been known to ignore said bellyaching and drag him along in his jammies.
I'm not known around these parts as Aunt Meanie for nothing, ya know.
These pictures were all taken during a 30-minute stretch along the trail last week.
