Too Full?

As I go through my days, engaging in activities ranging from the ridiculous to sublime, I'm continuing to count all the lovely gifts God gives me.

The more I look, the more I see...

(A thousand gifts #440-454)

His mercies are new every morning and they are unique to my needs at this moment.

answered prayer about that little something that was big to me

the giggles of little girls...silly time with ella-belle

sharing our personal truths with each other...who we are and who we want to be

seeing sweet bethany in wedding dresses and thinking about God's faithfulness in her life

sharing the Word with friends in the car and praying together

a new opportunity to love the Father and show His love to someone who desperately needs it

enthusiastic thunderstorms in april and the smell of the wet, spring ground when the rain stops

the sweet man who owns my home and takes such thoughtful care of my lawn

a morning spent with my kari and sweet little kylie, and sharing conversation with her precious, one-year-old self

Do you ever feel like your heart is too full to properly express yourself?

Yeah, that would be me today :)

How has God blessed you this week?  Are you counting?

Happy Monday!
Renee

I’m here from Ann’s

And my favorite from your list enthusiastic thunderstorms in april and the smell of the wet, spring ground when the rain stops (I’ve never heard a rainstorm desribed as “enthusiastic” before :) but I do know that smell – amen)

I’m really glad I got a chance to come by today.

God bless and keep you and all of yours.

"Little somethings that are big to me. . ." I just loved that today. I've had lots of little somethings lately, and I'm so glad the Father cares about each and every one. You said something at the top of your list that just struck me and I had never thought of it before: that His mercies are new every morning and so unique to our needs. I wonder sometimes if I don't look at "old" mercies and try to make them fit the need at hand. You've given me something to chew on and I thank you for that!

Thank you so much, Craig, for dropping by again and for always leaving such encouraging comments. It surely means a lot!

If you had been around these parts over this last week or so, you would heartily agree with my use of "enthusiastic" :) We have had some crazy weather! Have a great weekend :)

Cora I find such comfort in remembering that He's my Father, and just like I care about the "little things" in my daughters' lives...He cares for mine. And it's not like He cares because He has to, because He's God...He cares because He loves me :)

Pretty makes everything else cake, huh :)

Thanks so much for dropping by and sharing with me. I love love your take on what I said about His mercies. Good point! Please know that I'm praying for you tonight!
